Someone could make a killing retrieving and selling (and refurbishing) all the beautiful old stoves in these abandoned properties. Such a shame they’re sitting there, rotting away… I noticed this home didn’t have a bathroom 🤔 I wonder if that open space to the left of the kitchen where you thought the generator may have gone was where they showered?

The third tap over the sink was not uncommon around the time electricity arrived.The original hot water tap was from the slow combustion stove water tank.When power came on they would install a seperate electric hot water heater,tank and pipe.

I grew up sleeping on a bed exactly like the pink one in the front room. It was the most comfortable bed and it was higher than normal beds so as a kid I’d have to run and jump to get on it. And underneath I would make a cubby house ☺️

That was a neat old place. That last building looked like milking pipelines and stanchions. Must be real old though. You couldn't milk in something like that these days.

I'm really surprised this house was abandoned.

As i grew up in gunn st near Methodists, st and so much of that house re.inds me of the house i grew up in I i no this house well and its so sad to see another old beautiful home go to waste defently your best video so far .just wondering how do i find the original owners of my old home in gun street ? State library ?

3 taps - 1 hot 1 cold both bore (well) water middle tap is rainwater. The hay machine is a Reaper & Binder used to make sheaves of hay. The generator is a vacuum pump for milking macine, the guage shows the vacuum in the milk line, the milk line then goes to through the wall to be released into either a cooling coil or straight in to 8 or 10 gallon cans. I would think milking three cows at time as there looks like 3 head bails.

15:40 - I'm sure thats the foundation for the rainwater tank, being so close the house guttering. Wells aren't usually so close to the houses. Great explore!😊 Looks like they had a few rainwater tanks!

What is your favorite season to explore? I would think winter,there isn't any snakes or bees.

My heart is broken and i saw the first house demolished on google maps 😢

Histories of old dunnies could be a series. I’m still in awe of your respect for the sites, closing doors and gates to prevent livestock from unfortunately entering spaces and not being able to get out
